Her figure is surrounded by a circle of 50 stars representing the US states.

On the reverse of all 2020 American Gold Eagle Coins is a family of American bald eagles. Designed by Miley Busiek in 1986, this image depicts a female and hatchling in the nest as a male eagle flies overhead.
