The new 2019 Grenada Silver Diving Paradise Coin is the fourth issue in the new EC8 Series and the second design of a diver swimming through the beautiful waters off the coast of Grenada. Located in the West Indies in the Lesser Antilles, the island is one of the southernmost in the chain and consists of the main island of Grenada itself, with six smaller islands on the north of that main island.
On the reverse of 2019 1 oz Grenada Silver Diving Paradise Coin is the image of a solo diver swimming through the center of a massive pool of fish swirling around it. Inscriptions on this face include “Grenada” and “2019.” Tourism is the main driver of the island nation’s economy with water sports like diving supporting tourism in the southwest near St. George, the capital, and the airport and coastal strip of the island.
