Each Somalia Silver Elephant coin produced in the African Wildlife Series has featured a different design on the reverse side of the coin. The 2015 coins are no exception, as each one features a new depiction of the African Elephant from the 2014 coins. The African Elephant is the largest terrestrial animal on the planet, and is split into two specific species: bush and forest. The bush elephant is the one most people are familiar with, and is considered the largest animal. The forest elephant is slightly smaller and less visible in the public eye, though it is still the third largest animal.
