The central design element of the reverse side is the Great Seal of the US. This iconic crest depicts a bald eagle, spreading its wings to their full span as they frame an oversized shield. Carried in its beak is a scroll with the words “E Pluribus Unum” inscribed upon it. In its opposing talons, it carries an olive branch as a symbol of peace and a bundle of arrows to represent the measures the country must take to ensure the preservation of that peace.
