This is the standard approach for mints and refineries producing investment-grade gold and silver products. However, this form is not easily stackable for those who invest in large quantities of silver.

Monarch Precious Metals is now transitioning the production of its popular large-weight bars to a new stackable design. The new Stacker Silver bars from Monarch feature a rectangular design that is flat, with sharper edges, as opposed to the older loaf bars with a rounded obverse face that made for difficult stacking.

On the obverse side of these 1 Kilogram Monarch Hand Poured Stacker Silver Bars you’ll find the engravings now run top to bottom along the bar rather than left to right. The bar’s weight, in kilograms and troy ounces, is featured at the top, with the Monarch logo in the middle, and the purity and metal content engraved at the bottom.

Monarch’s familiar logo depicts the letters “MPM,” from Monarch Precious Metals, in the shape of a crown. The first two words from the corporate name are engraved in an arch above the crown, while the final word frames in the bottom of the design with a flat across engraving.

Monarch Precious Metals still hand pours all of its precious metal gold and silver bars, with all products featuring a minimum of .999 fineness. Their facility is located in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon, where it opened in 2008.
