The 5 Gram PAMP Suisse Lunar Horse Gold Bar is one of the many gold bars produced in the lunar gold bar series. The series was launched by PAMP in 2012 with the Year of the Dragon gold bars. Given the popularity of those first lunar series bars, PAMP Suisse embarked on subsequent gold bar series. Following the Year of the Dragon and Year of the Snake Gold Bars, PAMP Suisse minted the Year of the Horse Bar starting in 2014.

The 5 Gram PAMP Suisse Lunar Horse Gold Bar features the famous front-to-back imagery used on all lunar series gold bars. On the front side of the bar, a powerful horse is featured set in front of a tree. Above the horse’s head is the Chinese symbol for the horse. On the reverse side, the horse is viewed from the opposite direction with its body obscured by the tree. Only its head and hindquarters are visible. The PAMP Suisse logo, weight, purity, assay, and serial number of the bar are stamped into the tree on the reverse side.
