PAMP Suisse’s Fortuna design is recognized as one of the first, and finest, full-length bar designs in the modern era. The depiction of Fortuna is in line with Roman mythology surrounding the goddess. In her primary role, Fortuna was the goddess of fortune. In early Roman religion, Fortuna was believed to be the personification of luck. The luck she brought to followers came in positive and negative forms.

The obverse side of these PAMP Suisse Fortuna 5 Gram Gold Bars features the blindfolded image of the goddess. A cornucopia filled with riches sits atop her head, while her hands are cupped at the bottom of the bar to catch the bounty as it flows forth from her cornucopia.

On the reverse side of the gold bar are numerous engravings that help identify the individual bar. Included are engravings of the corporate logo, weight, metal content, purity, and individual serial number. An assayer’s mark is also engraved on the bar.

The proprietary Veriscan technology included in each bar makes use of the microscopic topographical surfaces of the bar to give it a unique fingerprint.
