The Chthonic Greek Gods are those who rule the underworld where the souls of the dead are sent to live out eternity. There are a total of 18 gods recognized as Greek Chthonic deities, with the most popular being Hades himself, the brother of Zeus and ruler of the underworld. The spirits and gods of the underworld are featured on the reverse of these coins.
