We do not cherry-pick any coins for grading or purchase any second-hand material, so you can be sure the coins you receive will be in brand new condition and ship in mint-sealed tubes of 20. Non-mint lot quantities will ship in individual plastic flips. Unfortunately the wooden Geiger boxes are prone to cracking, and as a result we cannot promise that box quantities will ship in their mint wooden box.

Each coin has been struck in 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver and holds a face value of 500 dram. All coins included in this collection are in mint condition and will arrive in either a sealed plastic sleeve or a tube of 20. Orders of 500 or more are eligible to be shipped in their original wooden Geiger box for storage.

Depicted on the obverse of the coin is the story’s most pivotal moment: the calm after the storm. It features a dove flying towards the ark to deliver an olive branch as a sign of land. Behind it sits the ark, gently bobbing up and down along the flood currents. In the distant horizon stands Mt. Ararat with rays of the sunlight beaming down upon it. From the peaceful rendering of the gentle waves to the beams of sunlight illuminating the sky, every detail and compositional element in this scene seems to evoke a sense of hope and serenity. Inscribed on along the border of this picturesque scene are the words “Noah’s Ark,” in both English and Armenian.

The reverse side of the coin is proudly emblazoned with the Armenian Coat of Arms. This emblematic crest depicts an eagle and a lion displaying a large shield. Featured underneath the shield are a sword, a chain, a stalk of wheat, a feather and a ribbon. These objects symbolize not only the many trials that the Armenian people have had to face, but also the inspiring beliefs that allowed them to overcome such struggles. Printed on the reverse side’s border is the title “Republic of Armenia” in both English and Armenian. Also appearing on the reverse side are the coin’s purity, weight, denomination and mintage year.
