On the obverse side of the bar, the image of Castle Guldengossa is stamped into the center of the design. The castle was built in 1720 and services as the headquarters of Geiger Edelmetalle outside the German city of Leipzig. Also included on this side are engravings of the company name, the bar’s metal content and purity, as well as its weight.

The reverse side of the bar features a repeating rhombus with the engraving “LEV” inside each shape. An invisible tarnish was used to seal this side of the bar, and when placed under a UV light, the year of mintage will appear in bright blue inside the LEV rhombus as a security feature to deter counterfeiting.
