Each round consists of 1 AVP oz of .999 copper and features the Lincoln Head design similar to that of the US penny. These collectible rounds will be packaged either in their original tubes or in vinyl coin flips to protect their newly minted condition. Of course, the effective recreation of the well known Lincoln head penny further enhances its appeal to collectors.

The Lincoln Penny first debuted to honor the great President in 1909 and has remained continuously in circulation. Augustus Saint-Gaudens was the great sculpter who devised the proud profile of Abraham Lincoln on the coin. The image of Lincoln is recaptured with great attention to detail and the words “E Pluribus Unum” (Out of Many, One) is engraved over his head.

The reverse side of the round is visually brilliant as well. The wings of the great bald eagle and the unmistakable image of the American flag is clear right above the bird. The flag is so incredibly rendered, you can see how it folds as if the wind was vigorously blowing against it. The images on both sides of the round are striking and this definitely will have an effect on how collectible the round will be.
