The image offers an overall close up on a human skull, with the nasal cavity, eye sockets, and teeth visible. Within the nasal cavity there is a spider crawling around, while the right eye socket is covered by a web. The other socket features a creeping tree with a bat flying in front of the moon. A pumpkin top covers the very top of the skull.

The reverse side of the 1 oz Antique Nightmares of Fall Silver Round features a gangly tree that looks as though there is a haunting fact in the center. The tree appears to come to life, striking fear in any who might come across it in the night. An engraving along the top reads “Happy Halloween.”
